RELAIS SANTA CROCE

Hotel is located in the centre of Florence in via Ghibellina, between Santa Croce Basilica and the Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore) near the Uffizy Gallery and the picturesque Ponte Vecchio and 15 minutes far from the railwaystation and 20 minutes from airport by car. At the beginning of the 1700's Marquis Baldinucci, treasurer to the Pope, had a magnificent palace constructed with two imposing granite columns at the entrance which the Marquis brought from Rome. Today, Ciofi-Jacometti Palace has returned to its age-old splendour: the recent restoration work was realized while fully respecting the original architectural elements of the building, recovering the precious fabric, the period furniture and the original frescos dating back to the XVIII century. Each room is equipped with adjustable air conditioning, Internet via TV or on your laptop, satellite and pay TV, clothes closet, mini bar, safe deposit box. The rooms are characterized by great attention to detail: period furniture with design elements, precious fabric and luxury finishings, such as the walls decorated with boiserie panels.
